Computer/Network/Signal Engineer

Duties

Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of local and wide area networks.  Activities include the selection and acquisition of network hardware and software, equipment staging and test, and development of periodic upgrades.

Experience 

 

Zero to seven years.

Experience with the design and maintenance of local and/or wide area networks. Strong background in either Novell Netware or Microsoft NT/2000 is required. Familiarity in one or more of the following areas is beneficial: server design, SCSI/fibre channel, routers/bridges, high bandwidth transport (ATM, Gigabit Ethernet), network cryptography, wireless technology and application rollout. Novell, Microsoft and/or Cisco certification is desirable.

Degree

B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or equivalent.

Travel

Limited (less than 5%)

U.S. Citizenship required.
Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
