Contract Specialist Internship

Duties:

Perform contract administration and negotiation duties which include: being the focal point for company and supplier communications (oral and written); keeping contracts on schedule by resolving contract issues quickly, expediting supplier and company personnel; processing, controlling, and maintaining contract file documentation; recommend bidders, issue inquiries, negotiate bids, perform cost and price analysis, and prepare comprehensive letters to the customer to justify recommended contract actions. 
 

Experience:

Basic understanding and working knowledge of financial analysis and other general business skills.

Computer skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office 97 applications desirable.

Communication skills: Good oral and writing skills required.

Degree:

Minimum of three years education in a business undergraduate degree program. 

Travel:

Occasional (less than 5%)
