Logistics Analyst

Duties

Perform analysis of logistical information pertaining to components, repair parts, plant configurations/modifications, and associated supply chains and inventories. Utilize automated logistics systems, and work with computer system users, engineers, buyers, programmers, and budgeting personnel to design, develop, and implement new systems, or to improve existing systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required for developing formal written proposals and documentation, conducting training, and coordinating and leading business meetings.

Experience 

 

Zero to six years.

Experience with military or commerical logistics, project planning, material and inventory tracking, warehousing and shipment planning, and tracking of equipment configuration/alteration is desirable. The applicant must be comfortable with computer systems, and ideally have experience in computer system design and/or development as well as data analysis.

Degree

B.S. in Information Systems, Business Administration, Business Logistics, or equivalent.

Travel

Limited (less than 5%)

 U.S. citizenship required.
Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
