BPMI's President & General Manager is Barbara A. Staniscia.

With nearly 40 years of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) experience, Barb has the honor of being the company’s first female General Manager. She graduated from Grove City College with a Bachelor of Science degree in materials engineering and has spent nearly her entire career supporting the NNPP. Barb is a champion of human-centered leadership, where every employee's voice, expertise, and perspective are welcome and respected. In Barb’s first three years as GM, BPMI has experienced unprecedented cultural change that inspires innovation, has improved employee satisfaction and engagement, and reinforces the three NNPP fundamentals of safety, quality, and security. Barb is supported by a leadership team of nine department managers and a Bechtel Board of Directors.
