We’re proud to dedicate all our resources to supporting our only customer, the U.S. Navy.

The critical nature of the work we perform in support of our nation’s fleet and Sailors demands this sole focus, which has allowed us to gain a unique expertise honed over nearly 70 years. Over the course of our history, we have evolved to embrace new technologies and innovation to deliver on our promise to the Navy, specifically Naval Reactors' Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP). Our mission and dedication to this Program continues to remain steadfast.

BPMI receives funding through prime contracts directly from the U.S. Department of Defense and indirectly from the U.S. Department of Energy through our Program partner, Naval Nuclear Laboratory. Despite the work we perform in support of the U.S. Navy, BPMI is a private company and a wholly owned subsidiary of Bechtel National, Inc. Read more about our Bechtel affiliation here.
